Our CEO, Dennis Dawson, established Beauty Up in San Diego, California in 2017. With his foresight and innovative background, he recognized the potential for technology to bring to life many fashion concepts he had been pondering. BeautyUp was issued a patent for the technology in 2021.

With the patent secured and AR technology expected to transform the women’s nails industry, Dennis set out to develop the app and website to grow the BeautyUp brand. The goal of the technology was to provide consumers with a virtual representation of products overlaid on a real-world image, enabling them to see what a nail design would look like on their own nails. This has the potential to revolutionize the way women approach nail product purchases, as they can now try on different colors, patterns, and styles from the comfort of their own homes.

Beauty Up was founded with the aim of offering women more choices and streamlining their shopping experience through technology that makes their lives easier.
